   PECC Campaign

New Jersey state legislation has created an approved workplace campaign for all public employees in the state of New Jersey. Public institutions, whose definition includes all state, county, township, and municipal organizations and all schools must participate in the Public Employees Charitable Campaign (PECC) in order to solicit employees for payroll deduction pledges. This drive supports the work of a multitude of approved charitable agencies and organizations including United Way and our member agencies. These agencies fight disease, make life more meaningful for the young and the aged, help the impoverished, and help people to become economically self-sufficient.

United Way of Warren County started the Warren County local Public Campaign in 2001 as the manager of the Warren County PECC. In three short years under the leadership of PECC Campaign Chair, Shawn Buskirk, Deputy Director of the Warren County Human Services, the campaign has grown to raise more than $23,000 annually.

We enjoy support from several school districts and government entities throughout the county. They include:

  • Phillipsburg School District
  • The County of Warren
  • Town of Phillipsburg
  • Hackettstown School District
  • Great Meadows School District
  • Warren County Community College

We invite any and all public entities throughout Warren County to join in the PECC so that public employees can have an opportunity to support United Way and a host of other worthwhile causes. To find out more call 908-475-8600.
