Offering child and youth mentoring programs for children of single-parent families, personal enhancement and enrichments, and promotion of one-to-one relations by matching children with carefully screened and trained adult volunteers.

United Way funds facilitate the matching of children with adult mentors and the supervision of the child/mentor relationship to ensure success.

Provides character building, citizenship training, and physical and mental fitness for all youngsters ages 7-21. Serving the Jenny Jump District which includes Allamunchy, Beattystown, Belvidere, Blairstown, Columbia, Delaware, Frelinghuysen, Great Meadows, Hackettstown, Hope, Independence, Knowlton, Liberty, Mansfield, Oxford, Port Murray, Vienna, and Washington.

United Way funds the Comprehensive Youth Development Program.

Provides character building, citizenship training, and physical and mental fitness for all youngsters ages 7-21. The Minsi Trails Council serves troops in Phillipsburg and surrounding townships including Harmony, Franklin Township, Pohatcong, Alpha, Greenwich Township, and Stewartsville.

United Way funds the Cub & Boy Scout Program.

Offers health and human services on a non-sectarian basis. Provides emergency food, clothing, family preservation, and daycare services to families in temporary emergency situations. Also provides client advocacy, individual, family, marital, and group counseling.

United Way funds the Material Needs/Social Services Program and Child Assault Prevention Program in schools throughout Warren County.

Assists victims of domestic abuse in coordination with other agencies. Provides emergency shelter, crisis intervention counseling, assistance with court procedures and court accompaniment, information and referral, community education, establishment of self-help groups, and client advocacy.

United Way funds the Shelter and Outreach Program.



FAMILY GUIDANCE CENTER OF WARREN COUNTY

Counseling center provides outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment; individual, marital, family, and group counseling for adults, adolescents, and children; 24-hour emergency services; treatment for sexually abused children; partial care for severe and persistent mentally ill persons and mentally ill chemical abusers (MICA).

United Way funds the Outpatient Mental Health, Partial Care, and Emergency Services Programs.



JOESEPH H. FIRTH YOUTH CENTER

Serves as the hub of recreation for the community providing supervised drop-in youth activities in active and passive recreation, organized team sports, arts and crafts, instruction in various physical education programs, informal school-age child care, adult development programs, and social/peer interaction.

GIRL SCOUTS - LENNI-LENAPE COUNCIL

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place. The Lenni-Lenape Council serves girls in eleven northern Warren County communities including Hackettstown, Mansfield, Allamuchy, Blairstown, Hope and Oxford.

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place.  The rolling Hills Council serves girls in 11 Warren County Communities including  Alpha, Belvidere, Greenwich, Harmony, Lopatcong, Phillipsburg, Stewartsville and Washington. 

United Way funds the program Project Anti-Violence Education.


LEGAL SERVICES OF NORTHWEST JERSEY - WARREN COUNTY DIVISION

Provides free legal advice and representation to low-income, senior, and disabled Warren County residents in housing, family, public benefits, consumer, and employment law matters. Also operates special programs for victims of domestic violence, senior citizens, persons with HIV, and individuals with mental health disabilities.

United Way funds core services that support all of the above.

Provides cost-effective, coordinated services to low-income people in Hunterdon, Morris, Somerset, Sussex, and Warren Counties. Services include child care, Head Start programs, information and referral, senior services, food bank, affordable housing development, home repair, and a variety of counseling services.

United Way dollars support the Food Bank, First Call for Help/2-1-1, and Pre-School Programs.
