Helping youth make positive choices:

For many children the years that span from early childhood to high school can include life-altering problems that can put them on the wrong path for the rest of their lives. We are helping children and youth to have healthy beginnings, and to grow into successful adults.

United Way programs support:

  • Child Assault Prevention Programs in the schools
  • Career Awareness Programs in the schools
  • Substance Abuse Prevention Programs in the schools

Improving Peoples Health by:

  • Increasing access to critical healthcare services
  • Reducing substance abuse, child abuse and domestic violence
  • Increasing health education and preventative care

Helping Families Become Financially Stable and Independent by:

  • Supporting basic needs while increasing financial stability
  • Helping hardworking people obtain job training and family-sustaining wages
  • Supplying food to those in need
