UNITED WAY OF WARREN COUNTY MOTHERS/FATHER'S This Fathers Day there will be many proud and smiling faces presenting their cherished gifts. This is the second year that the United Way of Warren County and community partners teamed up to help Warren County children celebrate Mothers and Fathers Day. Mothers and Fathers Day is a time to celebrate the people that make the difference in our lives. Over 400 children throughout Warren County were able to give a special gift to their parent or caregiver this season. Over 400 gifts were donated to the gift drive from organizations, college students and staff, individuals, local government, and schools. Supporting the gift boutique is a contributing factor that positively impacts youth by enabling them to take pride in the giving of gifts. To give the gift of giving, to allow a child to know the joy of selecting, wrapping and presenting a gift is the United Ways mission this season. Special thanks goes to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Warren County for assistance in implementing and organizing the gift boutique. It was a huge success and we look forward to growing the program year-over-year. United Way of Warren County is a locally-based non-profit organization that brings together people from all across Warren County leaders from business and the community, representatives of schools, local government, and non-profits, as well as ordinary citizens -- to tackle the issues that matter most.
