We will match groups of volunteers with agencies whose activities best fit the group's skills, interests, and geographical needs. Working on a project in the community gives employees and groups the chance to visit agencies they support through United Way of Warren County and to see, first-hand, the impact they are making. Working on a group project also provides the opportunity for team building and gives employees the chance to work together in a different and meaningful way. Participating in a Day of Caring project not only gives companies a hands-on opportunity to make a difference in their community, but also raises awareness of critical issues and promotes on-going engagement between Warren County companies and non-profit agencies. For many agencies, volunteers are the only means to accomplishing much-needed repairs. For the health of the community as a whole, volunteers are an invaluable resource.
