Leadership Giving In a thriving community like Warren County, leadership plays a critical role in ensuring our community grows strong and healthy. Through serving our community United Way of Warren County continues to take a leadership role by fostering community involvement, convening collaborative efforts to resolve community problems, and helping to make available the health and human services most needed in Warren County. The Leadership Giving Society is a special program at United Way of Warren County. Leadership Giving members are a cornerstone of United Way and its mission to improve the quality of life in Warren County for all its citizens. Members are invited to special gatherings and are recognized at various opportunities by United Way of Warren County. The Leadership Giving includes the Signature Club, donors of gifts of $1,000 and above, and the Tocqueville Donors, donors of gifts of $10,000 and above. Members of the Tocqueville Society (named for the aristocratic Frenchman who came to the U.S. in 1831 at age 25 and later wrote Democracy in America, a two-volume study of the American people and their political institutions) are also recognized at the national level.
