Campaign Checklist

Work with your United Way Representative. We are a great resource and partner for you. We can give you tips and ideas on how to run a successful campaign.

Involve your CEO: The success of your campaign depends on the commitment and involvement of your senior leadership. You can ask them to do the following:

  • Designate time for employees to participate in Community Volunteers Days of Caring or site tours.
  • Endorse the campaign through a letter.
  • Ask them to attend and speak at a Kick-Off.
  • Ask him/her to have a leadership event with senior staff members, so they can set the pace of the campaign.

Set Goals: Let employees know the goal and show them the progress along the way.
