
About the President
Prior to joining the United Way she served as the Director of the AT&T Global Employee Giving and Volunteer Programs. During her tenure at AT&T she served as an Advisory Board Member for the United Way of America Womens Leadership Initiative and National Corporate Leadership Council, and the AARP Womens Circle of Giving. She is a 1983 magna cum laude graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey. Currently she Co-Chairs the United Ways of New Jersey Womens Leadership Program, serves on the Warren County Community College Foundation Board, the Centenary College Performing Arts Guild Advisory Council, Berkeley College Career Advisory Council and the Joan Knechel Memorial Walk Steering Committee. Sarah is also a member and serves on the Executive Women of New Jersey Special Events Committee, is a member of Leadership Warren through the Warren County of Chamber of Commerce, a former Newark Regional Business Partnership Volunteer Ambassador and Trustee of the Freedom House Foundation. Sarah has been a resident of Warren County for the past twenty years and welcomes the opportunity to serve her local community. An avid explorer, she loves traveling internationally to exotic locales with her husband, an Optometric Physician and published author.
Sarah Brelvi is an accomplished non-profit and corporate executive. This past September she became the President and CEO of the United Way of Warren County, NJ. Prior to that she served as Director of Womens Leadership and Major Gifts at the United Way of Essex and West Hudson, NJ. She is looked upon as a change agent utilizing her skills in relationship management, communications, public relations, philanthropy and program implementation. Sarah is best known for her dedication to the community and commitment to programs that empower women and their families.
Sarah lives in Allamuchy with her husband, Nazir and two adult children, Jeff and Jane. Exercising in the early AM is what keeps Sarah in shape and feeling positive about life.
